City Times and Legend staff were recognized with individual and team awards at the San Diego Press Club on Oct. 29.

Out of the 15 awards received by the City College Journalism programs, City Times took home 13 achievements. 

Editor-in-Chief Sonny Garibay won second place in College Print or Online: Investigative and third place in College or Online: Sports.

Managing Editor Diangela Veras was also recognized with first place in College Print or Online: Cover Design-Magazine and two third place prizes in Cover Design – Newspaper and Feature Layout.
